In the early 1980’s, a group of people, hungry for more of God, started a Bible study in their home. Each week more people continue to come to hear the Word of God.

In 1982, it was decided that a church should officially be formed. In September of 1983, Grace Christian Church was legally incorporated. Some of the first services were held at the Travelers Inn on South Main Street in Fond du Lac.

The church continued to grow and more space was needed. The First Baptist Church on the corner of 1st and Macy Street was rented to accommodate the growing congregation. As the church continued to grow, it was decided in 1985 to form a search committee to look for a larger, more permanent facility.

In 1986, Grace purchased the old Fourth Street School on the outskirts of Fond du Lac with five acres of land. After much hard work and many hours spent by members painting, remodeling and redecorating, the building became the new home of Grace Christian Church. Services began in March of 1986.

The current pastors, Pastors Paul and Cynthia Pfeffer have been at Grace Christian Church since March of 1987.

Due to more growth, a building committee was formed in 1996 to plan and build an addition which included a new three hundred-seat sanctuary with additional office and storage space. The addition was completed in 1998.

In 2004, a 6500 sq. ft. youth facility/ fellowship hall was added. Grace Christian Church continues to grow in every area of ministry to individuals, families, the community and the world. We continue to give God all the glory for what He has done over the years.
